The month of August was gentler than usual in South Florida, many days were around 70, with a few scorchers on the roof at 120 degrees. We had over 12" of rain. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Green Wall in Palm Beach County! If you haven't seen it yet - head over to Worth Avenue to see the HUGE! Green wall installed on the western elevation of Saks. It is not only environmentally friendly but also beautiful, well thought out with textures and varieties of greens to truly make a work of art! The Atlanta Botanical Gardens has an edible garden and they have a wall built out of crates with different herbs growing, which I thought was awesome, but this design is amazing!

Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Rain Water Collection System In Peoria, Illinois. Former Roy-Fisher landscape designer, Bill Chambers, devised a rain water collection system at his company’s, Chamber and Sons Landscaping, headquarters in Peoria, Illinois. The inspiration came when he wanted to cultivate plants but could not, due to the lack of water infrastructure on the property. It rained for a couple of hours on Sunday, September 20. 2009, which was more than enough to fill the entire system to the brim.
