I was born in Cleveland, a few blocks from U.S. 42. I was also born to wander, and I’ve done a lot of that on U.S. 42. Which is what I did Sunday morning on my way home from a family reunion in Medina County. I followed it into Ashland County in lieu of taking Interstate 71. Like most essential businesses, the newspaper office was once located downtown.

So I took a detour down Hanover Township Road 629 instead. This scene caught my eye right off the bat. The best of all worlds flowering fields, wooded hillsides and a river. Landscape perspective. Spurn Point Artist In Residence 2012. I'm please to say that the tour of Textures of Spurn has been extended to include Goole Museum for the first part of 2014. The work is now on show there. Textures of Spurn in Beverley. The last leg of the gallery tour opens this weekend in Beverley Treasure House.
