eCONomics: Food Additives
http://spxfoodethicseconomics.blogspot.com/2015/04/food-additives.html
Friday, April 24, 2015. April 29, 2015 at 6:44 PM. As you said GMOs are not harmful, but what happens if a we replace all the different species of watermelons, apples, and other fruits with one genetically modified type? If that one specie out preforms all the other naturally grown types and one company has control over the GMO like Monsanto and the genetically modified soy bean, one company could have complete control over entire types of food. Sunday, May 3, 2015. Http:/ www.osservatoriomigrantibasilicata.it/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/logo via campesina1.jpg. From conducting research for my blog this past week I started wondering how we could change our food system but still produce the same amount of food so no one goes hungry. Monday, April 27, 2015. A Good Clean Feeling No Matter What. As you can see the Orbit lady likes to keep it green (see background of the pic below) and keep it clean. She also keeps people from getting too hungry with chewing gum. But how can we apply any of the Orbit lady's ingenious strategies of keeping the environment green and being able to keep people from being hungry to food ethics. Renewable energy is a great choice in supplying energy for many environments. It was first used. In Italy in 1904 .

eCONomics: $pending Green to Keep it Green
http://spxfoodethicseconomics.blogspot.com/2015/05/pending-green-to-keep-it-green.html
Saturday, May 9, 2015. Pending Green to Keep it Green. Currently 80% of America's energy comes from fossil fuels, but carbon dioxide, which is released from the burning of fossil fuels, is the main greenhouse gas. Reducing the release of gases like this will reduce extreme weather, a consequence of global warming. The American government is trying to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide by declining 42% of greenhouse gas use by 2030 and an 83% drop by 2050. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Sunday, May 10, 2015. Turning our Humanity Switch Back ON. The fact that these companies are finally acknowledging the wrong that they are doing is a big step. By them announcing their changes in practices, they are influencing other companies to change their ways and are also bringing more attention to their cause. These companies are leading the charge against animal cruelty in the food industry and making the industry more humane. Courtesy of Tumblr.com. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Oh! The HUMANEity: AG-GAG BILLS
http://spxfoodohthehumaneity.blogspot.com/2015/05/ag-gag-bills.html
Sunday, May 3, 2015. Photo courtesy of Nation of a Change. The Ag-gag bill term is used to refer to anti-whistle-blower laws that make it illegal to take videos and pictures or seek employment under a false pretense whose real purpose is to expose abuse or food safety problems in slaughterhouses or factory farms. Courtesy of narn.org. But when we look closely at these laws, what are they really made for? Why do these corporations really want these laws passed? What do you think? May 11, 2015 at 4:43 PM.

Oh! The HUMANEity: A Closer Look at Pigs on Factory Farms

Thursday, April 30, 2015. A Closer Look at Pigs on Factory Farms. Each year, the United States raises about 100 million pigs in large-scale factory farms. What the consumer sees is the pork at the meat section in his or her local supermarket, but what goes unnoticed are the inhospitable conditions that these pigs live in.
