38 weeks on New Year’s Eve | A mama by grace

A mama by grace. 38 weeks on New Year’s Eve. Finally had a haircut or hairchop in my case! It’s been a busy, but good kind of busy, week because my husband is on a holiday from work. Yes, they do celebrate New Year in Japan! Although not in the usual way other countries do. They typically go back to their families’ place, spend it quietly (literally quietly- not a pop, a sound, a squeak nor any fireworks at all), visit a temple and eat their traditional New Year’s meal. For the usual updates:. Had my che...

A note to my baby girl | A mama by grace
https://gaijinmamabygrace.wordpress.com/2014/12/26/a-note-to-my-baby-girl
A mama by grace. A note to my baby girl. But remember: God loves you the most that even when I fail you, even when I fall short of loving you, His love will overtake and overwhelm you. He will chase you to the very ends of the earth even if you reject His love. Just like how He did with your mama. I love you, baby girl. But remember that His love will trump my love for you. God loves you best. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:.

August | 2014 | A mama by grace
https://gaijinmamabygrace.wordpress.com/2014/08
A mama by grace. We celebrated my husband’s birthday with a slice of strawberry shortcake and lotsa giggles, laughs, hugs and kisses last August 14th. It’s the first time we didn’t do anything. Like go out of town, celebrate with friends or go jumping off a bridge or a plane (we went bungee-jumping and skydiving on our anniversaries though). But we felt extraordinarily blessed with that slice of cake and he said he received the bestest gift ever when God blessed us both with a baby (still in my tummy).

Baby Shower! | A mama by grace
https://gaijinmamabygrace.wordpress.com/2014/12/18/baby-shower
A mama by grace. I’ll let the photos do the story-telling…. Those onesie cookies were actually baked by Kay, who also organized the shower and prepared the giveaway candles for those who attended. The cutesy art on the box was also a DIY illustration by a friend, Stella. This pretty diaper cake topped with Vulli’s Sophie was made by Sharie who also helped to organize the shower. We are soooo blessed with special relationships! The beaming and blessed parents-to-be. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. You are com...

39 weeks and still preggy | A mama by grace
https://gaijinmamabygrace.wordpress.com/2015/01/09/39-weeks-and-still-preggy
A mama by grace. 39 weeks and still preggy. As of writing this post, I am 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I went for my 39th week check-up a few days ago and the baby and I went through an NST (non-stress test), ultrasound and a transvaginal check. But about the results of the tests, both baby and mama were given passing marks by the doctor. Praise God! For the usual pregnancy updates. Waiting, waiting, waiting…. I can finally relate to most women on being jumpy on their last few weeks of being pregnant!

Happy Belated Birth Story | A mama by grace

A mama by grace. Happy Belated Birth Story. So… Xaia is 4 months as of writing this post. She’ll be 5 months old in about 2 weeks. Finally. Finally. I am dusting off the cobwebs and will try my hardest (with my sleep-deprived memory) to recall the beautiful birth story of our firstborn, Xaia Axelle. They finally admitted us this time because I was already 5cm. dilated. The baby was doing fine and her heartbeat’s all good. She’s doing so much better than her mama. I just felt r...There in that room I wait...

A mama by grace | A first time mom in Japan who desires to live by faith not by sight each and every day | Page 2

A mama by grace. At 34 weeks with a girlfriend who is also pregnant at 13 weeks! 🙂 she was one of those who also prayed for me to get pregnant early this year. So happy to share this season with a friend! Feeling more energetic and less lethargic. Excited about finally packing my hospital bag and checking off items on the hospital’s list of items to bring and prepare. We did go through the Laugh and Learn video early in my second trimester but we have still to. Watch it the second time around. My appeti...

FAITH MOTIVATES MIRACLES: BE BOLD AND BELIEVE!!

LAST NIGHT GOD WOKE ME UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND GAVE ME THIS THOUGHT. FAITH MOTIVATES MIRACLES. HE KEPT TELLING ME OVER AND OVER I STILL HEAL, I STILL HEAL. HE TOLD ME PEOPLE SAY IT AND CLAIM TO BELIEVE IT, BUT QUESTION WILL HE? IT IS SIMPLE CHILD LIKE FAITH THAT MOVES THE HAND OF GOD. JESUS SAID IT! I NEED TO START WRITING WHAT GOD GIVES ME TO MOTIVATE OTHER'S TO BELIEVE GOD FOR THEIR MIRACLE. SO HERE I AM. Thursday, March 26, 2009. BE BOLD AND BELIEVE! Money to produce itself?
