A look inside the grounds department of Squire Creek. Thursday, May 27, 2010. V-cutter working sand down into the canopy. After picture, you can see the stolons disrupted. The process goes like this:. Topdress Greens (let the sand dry so it does not stick to the machines). Vertical mow (at even, change directions every week). Mow with reel mowers. Brush with mecanical broom. Spray and/or gypsum application. This is a process that is essential for our greens and is completed in about 5 hours on Mondays.

A look inside the grounds department of Squire Creek. Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Every year Squire Creek Grounds submits application for visa workers. This fulfills our need for seasonal labor. For us, the visa guys arrive in February or March and depart for their homeland in December. Needless to say, the crew just arrived and is getting acquainted with their surrounding. This year we received 25 visas, that will be working in different areas inside the grounds department;. 1 at clubhouse grounds.
