Sunday, July 19, 2009. Week 2 of the Tour saw me spin my first 4ply yarn. It was fun! The fibre is Shetland from Southern Cross Fibre in 'Koala'. It's about DK-ish weight, 105g and 174m. Next up on the wheel is some more SCF this time Polwarth in 'Adelaide'. My home town brilliantly brought to life with fibre and dye! Wales, Day 3.

Spinning Sue's Homemade Life. I'm a mis-placed Aussie living in the UK knitting, spinning, weaving and dyeing to my little heart's content. Now with added gardening and cooking! Looks a bit like a grave. Buildin...

Spinning Sue's Homemade Life. I'm a mis-placed Aussie living in the UK knitting, spinning, weaving and dyeing to my little heart's content. Now with added gardening and cooking! Saturday, April 18, 2015. Well, half of one! An allotment, that is! Got the letter from the council this morning and have emailed to say I'll take it. The Council aren't open on Saturdays of course.
