The footpath through protected forests and wetlands is well-marked, but uneven and rough in places. Directions:. The four buildings on the site are in urgent need of repair and restoration. This will be a multi-year effort starting in May 2016. The goal of the first phase is to make the buildings water tight and structurally sound. Furthermore, these lighthouses are rare in construction, as well as eye-catching. The Doubling Point Lighthouse, right, lights the curve that leads downriver from Bath to Fiddler's Reach.
