http://wallsarepink.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 7, 2012. My love affair with cloth diapers, Part 3. To catch up, read. My love affair with cloth diapers,. After lots of internal debate and research, I decided to go with BumGenius 4.0 diapers. And I haven't regretted it for an instant! Originally I chose this brand for a few key reasons:. Adjustable sizing means I won't have to worry about purchasing any more cloth diapers as Emerson grows. One set will get us through until she's potty trained. Simple! Day to day with cloth diapers.

And Now the Walls are Pink: February 2012
http://wallsarepink.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 26, 2012. When I last mentioned the nursery walls, I told you there was something in progress. Auntie Krystle painted these for Emerson.and they bring such joy to my heart! And I shouldn't be surprised (I've been a fan of her artwork since kindergarten) but Krys hit the nail on the head with these paintings. The colors and feeling of these paintings are exactly what we were hoping for! The view from the glider is so lovely! Sweet baby girl, come soon! There's so much we have to show you.

Saturday, December 31, 2011. Christmas Vacation has provided a nice opportunity to check some items off the "To Do Before Emerson Comes" list. During the break I have cleaned out every cupboard in the kitchen and reorganized all dishes, cookware, and pantry items. Scott has worked on the trim in the nursery (pictures soon! I'll share before and after pictures when the project is complete. And all the lovely Christmas cards we've received lately? I was inspired by these adorable curtains. From the Land of...

And Now the Walls are Pink: April 2012
http://wallsarepink.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 30, 2012. What I've learned in 8 weeks. This post could also be an excerp from my imaginary book called The First-time Mother's Handbook. It is the chapter on baby's bodily functions. Enjoy! If you are planning on welcoming a newborn baby into your home, beware of the following:. You will be pooped on, peed on, and puked on. Get used to the idea and embrace it. It means your baby's systems are working. And buy lots of laundry detergent. The good news is, as a mom, you will quickly become de...

And Now the Walls are Pink: October 2011
http://wallsarepink.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Can you tell I'm totally uncomfortable posing for these pictures? But it seems to be a right of passage when you have a pregnancy blog and your sisters/mother/grandmother live too far away to keep an eye on the bump.). But unfortunately for this pregnant mama, the doctor says if the measurements are within two weeks of your due date everything is good. So here I am at 21 weeks trying to be patient! And in all seriousness, I will happily walk, shuffle, trudge, and even waddle ...

And Now the Walls are Pink: December 2013
http://wallsarepink.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 5, 2013. Check it off the list! I recently accomplished something I've always wanted to do! I made the perfect chocolate chip cookies! I've had the recipe for a year now, and I've used it several times, but I'd never been able to get my cookies to look or feel just right. My cookie scoop broke, so I had to roll these cookies by hand. And that was the trick! The recipe is adapted from the good old Tollhouse recipe. It just contains extra flour to make the cookies thick and soft. View my...

And Now the Walls are Pink: January 2012
http://wallsarepink.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Here's the bump at 34 weeks. I definitely feel like I've hit the last stage of pregnancy. My body is awkward and swollen, my emotions are all over the place, and even a peanut butter sandwich gives me heartburn! Some moments I'm overwhelmed with the thought of surviving the next 40 days.and the next I'll feel a tiny little extremity (hand? Poking up an inch from the rest of my stomach and I'm struck with the amazing reality that an actual human being is inside of me! As I found...

My Life: Meeting Ralph
http://lavidadebeth.blogspot.com/2010/04/meeting-ralph.html
Monday, April 19, 2010. Aren't you just dying to know, "Who is Ralph, and why did he sign a card for Kristel and her baby? Allow me to tell the story. Once upon a time, Krys. And I went to a bookstore. (Don't confuse Krys with Kristel. At the moment Krys and I were at the bookstore, Kristel was havin' a baby! We got a magic ticket, and waited for our turn. Did I mention we waited? We were a little bit desperately bored out of our minds at this point. But we pressed on. Our ticket was called! April 20, 20...
