http://rhymesnocrime.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 29, 2012. There's something sinister and dark,. Hiding deep in Goblin Park -. Waiting, lurking, creeping in the grass. So when the shadows draw you near,. And prey upon your every fear,. You know it's time to turn and haul some ass. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ho Hum, Diddly Dum. A collection of poems. Of silly old rhymes. To stir up the memories. circuitous: fun with semantics: apples
http://thecatch22.blogspot.com/2011/04/fun-with-semantics-apples.html
Round and round we go. Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Fun with semantics: apples. The other day, my mom bugged me about eating fruit, claiming that eating apples will "keep the doctor away." Okay, she didn't say that exactly. But it was in Chinese, and the general sentiment made me think of that phrase. It's a curious saying, as eating apples may help with health, but it sure won't always. Keep the doctor away. What if you contract a rash? I'd like to see an apple cure that. Just some food for thought.

"everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt": ...
http://microwavesmeinsane.blogspot.com/2009/06/blog-post.html
Friday, June 5, 2009. There has never been a kid that has boggled my mind more. Very recently, I began watching a 4 1/2 year old girl whose mother is a writer and needs some time to herself for her work. I could go into detail why I think this kid is crazy (intolerably so, and I've been interning at an elementary school for the past 9 months), but I will spare you. Needless to say, I don't think I've ever so blatantly been called a liar. Little Girl: "You don't have a brother.". Yes, I do.". G: "But I do!

Ho Hum, Diddly Dum: May 2010
http://rhymesnocrime.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 29, 2010. Like a Box of Chocolates. Found in a box full of sweets. Is there a gross, slimy bug,. Or maybe a layer of dust? Does it taste like old, ratty rugs,. Or maybe like metal and rust? It seems that, regardless,. My stomach can't harness this;. Now it's all over my feet. Monday, May 10, 2010. Oh, the sun is such a pretty thing,. Hanging in the sky,. But I can't see the sun today,. It seems it went to hide. I see it peeking out,. Oh, what a lovely find! Though after staring at its face,.

Wednesday, April 6, 2011. There once was a man from Beirut. Who often was given the boot. His bosses weren't fond. When he didn't respond,. It's a shame, cause the man was a mute. http://thecatch22.blogspot.com/2011/02/i-would-donot-very-much-apparently.html
Round and round we go. Tuesday, February 8, 2011. I would do.not very much, apparently. Upon hearing the first few seconds of "Grenade" by Bruno Mars on the radio, I thought it was pretty catchy. And then I listened to the lyrics. I don't know what to really say about those lyrics, except that if I threw a live grenade at Bruno Mars, I would bet a lot of money that he wouldn't catch it - he would run the fuck. Here's the song in full:. Labels: i would not miss my train for ya. February 9, 2011 at 8:29 PM.

circuitous: status symbol
http://thecatch22.blogspot.com/2010/07/status-symbol.html
Round and round we go. Thursday, July 22, 2010. Oof haven't updated this in a while, so.apologies to the handful of people who bother checking. Anyways, in light of Facebook's recent milestone of surpassing 500 million users. I thought I'd throw in a handy guide to writing status updates (hey, it works for Twitter, too! General sentiment meant to suggest something poetic, but ultimately means nothing.]. Ex: "Some people say live like you're dying. I say die like you're living.". Ex: "Blew my nose!
