That a simple tale could be told without much fanfare and yet with such eloquence that it touches your heart, brings to the fore the power of cinema. The kids in the movie are just awesome and the beauty in which friendship and the mother-son relation is portrayed just warms the heart. The picturesque Konkan just adds to the warmth. Let your light shine. October 2nd, 2016. Went into it thinking it's a horror movie. Which it wasn't. Came out terrified, though. A very very well made movie with very few dialogues and tense moments which kept me on the edge. The number of times my hand muffled the scream and surprise are countless, perhaps. Will not delve into details, but a must watch. Is just too beautiful how just visuals, sound effects can be used effectively to make an awesome thriller! July 3rd, 2016. The movie just blew me away.

Sharan and I had even cut out all those articles and pasted into a scrap book. Coming back to the day, we were super excited. I left early from the computer class and rushed to Goregaon east. Let your light shine. March 8th, 2015. Holi - the holiday! So they had this new way to protect Sharan and me. When we moved to Sidhharth Nagar, my parents were a little less wary and allowed me to play Holi with building friends. And play, I did! I loved colors as well as water. While at that age, it was super fun to splash colors on each other, soon i realised, Holi was much more than that. It was torture at some level where unknown people took liberty to invade your personal space.

Group Presentations and Sayonara Buffet. Wednesday, October 31. This was going to be our last day full of activities and enrichment seminars. This time we were the spotlight. Each group of the five different prefectures was required to present their Japanese experience in a skit, song, play or dance. As long as we could transmit back our educational experience to our audience. The audience was represented by government people of each prefecture, people who welcomed us to their towns. That made me sad.
