I was so fortunate to have so many good friends and family offer to help host a baby shower. It turned out to be a wonderful event and I feel so incredibly lucky to have so many loving, generous and inspirational people in my life. Here are some photos highlighting the event. Sydneys 4th Birthday

Sydney had a great birthday and managed to celebrate the entire day. We started off the day with Chocolate chip pancakes, whip cream and strawberries. Followed up with present opening from Mom and Dad. Then her favorite pizza lunch and a party with her pre-school age friends at MyGym. In the afternoon. When we came home we opened more gifts, had an intimate birthday dinner with family and friends and then opened even more presents. She is truly blessed to be so loved by so many people.

Most of our married pre-Sydney days revolved around business school and traveling so most of these photos are from those types of events. When Srima graduated in 2002 from business school, she and her good friend Karen Reid went to Greece, Slovenia and Croatia for a month. Those photos are on a separate page. Sydney was elected eco-ambassador for her kindergarten class which means she is in charge of trash and composting. I fear my environmental engineering waste oriented background might have rubbed off on her too much but only time will tell.
