Now the bracket for the dual cooling fans is manufactured and installed on the engine. The cooler is in place and the fans fit perfectly into the covers. 1 June, 2016. To give full cooling of the engine, there are dual cooling fans to the radiator. The Scania museum has been kind enough to give us an extra cooling fan which we now have mounted on the engine.

Now we have lifted the engine into the motor frame. The next step is to mount the gearbox. When it is in place it is time to mount the engine accessories. We have turned the base upside down. Vi räknar med att få tillbaka den, målad och fin, i slutet av sommaren. Motorn har blivit placerad i sin ram och förberedelserna för att montera ihop den med växellådan är i full gång. Om renoveringen av en unik stridsvagn. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. 10 maj, 2015. Nu är både motor och växellåda monterade i motorramen. Före monteringen har motorn och växellådan blivit genomgångna och iordninggjorda. Motorn är fortfarande helt ”ren” men förgasare, magnet, startmotor och generator är renoverade och ligger färdiga för montering. The fighting compartment of the 21-29 was painted white, except the inside of the doors which were grey in order not to be that visible when they were open. Here is a little comparison between what it looked like before we started the renovation and now after that the inside has been painted. There is a lot left to do, but we begin to imagine the end.

Summer has past and autumn is approaching, so last Monday we started working with the 21-29 project. The first thing we will do is to mount the bogie boxes and then turn on the chassis so it will be placed in its right position. One bogie box mounted, and the rest is on its way.
