100% on the Aerolith 7s at last! - Scrabbling for Mastery
http://boshvark.livejournal.com/88644.html
100% on the Aerolith 7s at last! April 10th, 2012. After many months of slow improvement, I finally got 100% on the Aerolith 7s. And with 84 seconds to spare. I think today's batch must have been particularly easy given the 14 people who have aced it so far, but still. After several near-misses I was wondering if I would ever do it. Unrelatedly, is there anyone here who is going to the San Diego Open and looking for a roommate? Besides me, that is? 2012-04-11 01:57 am (UTC). Powered by LiveJournal.com.

February 29th, 2012. So, this past weekend, I had my first multi-day tourney win in forever, got Gibsonized for the first and, Im sure, only time, and also finally went back over 1600, to a new peak of 1637. I played the 5-game Early Bird, and lost 2d place to Ross by a lousy 18 spread points but still gained 14 rating points. Had dinner at Duo, a Japanese restaurant, where I misadded and managed to over-tip by about 50 bucks. It was a game. Even in losing the last game to Connie - who emptied the bag bu...

My TV addictions, then and now:. 2012: I have reached a point where most of what I do is watch things Ive already seen. I dont have the patience to pay attention to new things. There are a couple of notable exceptions. Heres what I spent most of my time watching this year:. 1 The West Wing (watched a couple seasons during election time). 2 Firefly (watched it again this year).

Oct 18th, 2012 11:01 pm. Traveling is weird. Sometimes you think about it and plan for months ahead of time. Sometimes the time comes and it just happens. This time around, Ive been so busy for the last month that its completely shocking that Im supposed to go to China tomorrow. I cant remember ever being quite as unprepared. And I watched a couple of great movies that I still think about today: More than Blue. Was one, I cant remember the other. 2012-10-19 06:20 am (UTC). Have a great time there!

Friend's for dinner tonight! 04:52 pm June 2nd, 2012. Friend's for dinner tonight! My friend and I are visiting her brother and his girlfriend for dinner. Were bringing the foods, and so while my friends making the roast, I am doing:. 1) a salad of stinging nettles, daisy buds and sea asparagus, among other things. 2) homemade gnocchi with a simple tomato sauce. 3) steamed spot prawns with dill and citrus butter. Friend's for dinner - the aftermath - arbretriste. 09:24 pm June 3rd, 2012. Friend's for dinner - the aftermath. So as the aftermath - I was preparing those dishes because the other visitor said she was going to make a roast for them. That day, I then find out shes not doing it, and the host is instead, and shes been drinking the whole day. Which makes the day good too, but I was a little wondering about what else they made too. We all laughed about me bringing about 5 bags of groceries, including 3 wines.

Nats in a nutshell. - bladdery mijnheer. 16 August 2012 @ 09:21 pm. Nats in a nutshell. For starters I've got a bingo list. The bingo count was 52-49 my favor. I played 8 Collins only. They played 7 Collins only. There were no games I got shutout without a bingo and I shutout my opponents twice. ADROITER STRaYER LINULAE* PEASANT. TENTAGE - fixed, EMBAILED#. I think Sam Kantimathi deserves some serious street cred for winning the Collins division. Well done Sam! 4 comments Leave a comment. On August 17th,...
