http://seannewton.blogspot.com/2011/11/thanksgiving-blues.html
Sean Newton's Senior Thesis. Monday, November 28, 2011. Wow, Thanksgiving was great and as usual, went by pretty quickly. I was up in San Francisco with family and it was nice to see all of the relatives again. I got a little work done. I started some basic skinning of my astronaut character and also finalized payment issues with my riggers. My alien character should be finished by this week as well. That's pretty much it. Here are a few pictures of the updated interior shot from my spaceship. Compared to my last update, I included more mechanical objects inside and updated the desk. http://thewastedthesis.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Animation production blog for Alessandra Waste at the University of Southern California. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Hello from definitely NOT Los Angeles! My brain has definitely decompressed in the last few days. The other day it was snowing so I ducked in a bookstore/cafe, grabbed some soup, and got some storyboards down on paper. Huzzah! Here's some photographic proof (taken with my phone, hence the fantastic resolution). And it's on 7x10 paper, too! And it's my birthday, darn it! Fancy) and repost it...

Sean Newton's Senior Thesis: 1 Month to Picture Lock
http://seannewton.blogspot.com/2012/02/1-month-to-picture-lock.html
Sean Newton's Senior Thesis. Monday, February 20, 2012. 1 Month to Picture Lock. Just trying to motivate everyone. Actually, more like 1 month and 10 days. Well for this week I animated some more shots and blocked everything out. I should be done with my rough animation before spring break, and then go ahead and refine everything by the time picture lock rolls around. It's coming down to the wire, but I should be able to have everything finished by then. Here is a little sample:. 1 Month to Picture Lock.

The Wasted Thesis: bloomin' inkblots, batman!
http://thewastedthesis.blogspot.com/2012/01/bloomin-inkblots-batman.html
Animation production blog for Alessandra Waste at the University of Southern California. Monday, January 23, 2012. Bloomin' inkblots, batman! Well I had a super musical weekend! I also dropped the new edits and reframed shots into an animatic. Hopefully that's the last of the timestamp-alterning changes I make. Some of these shots have really gathered momentum and are screaming to be animated, especially running through the city with the ink trails rising through the buildings. SO FUN.
