Thursday, October 24, 2013. Rose and I were in Arizona visiting family for about 4 days (5 nights) last week. Unfortunately Jacob was not able to come with us because of school obligations, but we were able to Skype with him every day. When we arrived back in Utah, I found these screenshots from our Skype sessions on the Macbook. Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Watching these videos for the first time (weeks after they were taken) hit me like a sentimental TON OF BRICKS. Is is possible that I'm already feeling nostalgic mommy-remorse for not fully appreciating how precious those first days with my newborn were? It's definitely possible —. It's incredible (and scary). Thursday, September 19, 2013. On the drive back from South Padre, we made a spontaneous stop in San Antonio to check out the Alamo, the River Walk, and to give Rose a breather from her carseat. Saturday, August 24, 2013. If you listen closely you can hear Rose make a little *GASP! Noise every time Jacob blows air on her face. It gets a little louder and more dramatic as the video continues.
