A Communications Tool for the Shaffs. Archive for May, 2007. May 31, 2007. We now have worked a couple weeks at Ruby’s and are getting two days off after seven days on! The new campground is much quieter than the old one, but still very windy and dusty. Cable TV was installed on Tuesday; a better wifi antenna installed on Tuesday; and we’re still waiting for the telephone service. However, cellular is pretty good, so may stay with that. A Communications Tool for the Shaffs. Laquo; Computer Work. We got a Harley today! Actually it’s not ours. Friends needed a spot to store theirs while they toured the Eastern US in their new motorhome. Since we have a big driveway; we told them we could babysit. It’s quiet here today – Donna started back to work. I’ve been getting the Activities Office web site documentation in order and listening to Leo Laporte’s podcasts. Still pretty warm; about 95. And, the park residents are beginning to return.
