Tuesday, 2 August 2016. Cook Island Language week. Room 29 went on a outing to Te Oro in Glen Innes. We made some flower head bands to celebrate Cook Island culture and found out that they wear them to look good and to smell pretty. We also saw people singing and we were dancing along with them. It was awesome and when we got back to Glendowie School, we took some more photos of us wearing our head bands. Thursday, 7 April 2016. What a fun day we had at Sommerville doing sport! Monday, 17 August 2015. Going to the bank. We went to ASB bank in St Heliers because we had lots of coins to give them. We traveled there by bus and it was fun. We had to say "St Heliers, please," and then he told us what we had to pay: $1.50 We had to give the bus driver the money and he give us a ticket. 18 August 2015 at 14:43. Friday, 22 August 2014. As part of our topic `In the Past', Room 29 went to visit MOTAT. We had so much fun playing with the old equipment and comparing them to what we use in the present. We loved looking at the old cars and the best part of the day was going on the tram which was great fun! Using an old type writer. Writing with a quill and ink.
