So Ephemeral, Spring! - stacey m. hollis

http://www.staceymhollis.com/home/so-ephemeral-spring

Stacey m. hollis. Reporting Blog (early work). So Ephemeral, Spring! There’s a feeling like we're on the cusp of a new beginning. Tending their new hatchlings above the National Arboretum’s azalea grove for the first time since 1947. As the petals pass their peak, the leaves push through leaves immediately follow in a del...

http://www.staceymhollis.com/home/nasty-neonicotinoids

Stacey m. hollis. Reporting Blog (early work). These pesticides are rampant and could affect more than just the birds and the bees. Where have we seen the greatest detriment to living organisms? Well, just think of the massive bee die-offs that have plagued several areas in the recent past. These important pollinators, while not targeted by applicators of these pesticides, have nonetheless seen unsettling declines. Despite this, the pesticides are continued to be used in our country, while the Un...Creat...

A non-material girl in a multimedia world. Summer dog days are over →. West to East: A San Francisco to DC Extravaganza. March 11, 2015. Stacey M. Hollis. I left San Francisco in the dead of winter. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Head in the Clouds. The new August kit from Inside Out Visual Scrapbooking involves the theme of Live Your Dream. I really thought about how grateful I am. I appreciate where I am now, especially compared to where I came from. I loved the cloud motifs in this kit and hand cut them to use around my page. Living today in the moment is key.
