Prague-ress Report...Czech!

Stacy's journey in the Czech Republic. Tuesday, May 26, 2015. When I woke up this morning, my first thoughts were about my grandparents. It's probably because I was just talking about them on Sunday with my Dad. But, this morning I again realized how blessed I am. An excerpt from today's journal entry about these thoughts rolling around my head. But that's not reality. And honestly, I wouldn't want that. One thing that this realization does for me is help me to not take my time with them for granted....

Prague-ress Report...Czech!: November 2014

http://www.stacyinczech.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Stacy's journey in the Czech Republic. Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Since arriving back in Prague in the middle of September, life has felt like a whirlwind. As I mentioned in the last post, I have been teaching English at the Family Center twice a week. On Wednesdays, I have my conversational class with the moms, and on Thursdays, I have my English class with the kiddos. It's been fun to be back at the Center, connecting with people (both new and returning students)! Stacy, Gordana, Brittany. To be honest...

Prague-ress Report...Czech!: Today's reflections

http://www.stacyinczech.blogspot.com/2015/02/todays-reflections.html

Stacy's journey in the Czech Republic. Thursday, February 5, 2015. Mark 10:21, "Jesus looked at him and loved him.". As I read those words today, they struck me in a new way. Maybe it's because I'm studying prayer and worship for one of my classes. Or maybe it's because this is simply what I needed to hear today. Either way, God used these words to speak to me. This man. Not as a rich man. Not as someone who interrupted him. But as simply a man who came to Jesus. What does it mean to be loved by Jesus?

Prague-ress Report...Czech!: March 2015

http://www.stacyinczech.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Stacy's journey in the Czech Republic. Saturday, March 7, 2015. I had a birthday this week; kind-of a big one. When people ask me about it, I think they expect me to feel sad because the number keeps increasing. Or maybe because they wonder if I'm disappointed about where my life is. But, the number has never been a big deal for me. I mean, age is just a number, right? Yes, I say that now.wait a few years and we'll see if I still say this.I've heard it all.). Well, yes, there are some things in my life t...

Prague-ress Report...Czech!: March 2014

http://www.stacyinczech.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html

Stacy's journey in the Czech Republic. Monday, March 31, 2014. I’ve started this post multiple times in my head. But when I go to write it, I always blank on what to say. Maybe it’s writer’s block. Maybe it’s because nothing seems to be new and noteworthy. Maybe it’s simply laziness. Whatever it is, it’s time to break through and get another update out to you! On the island of Torcello. The biggest news of the past few months is that my parents were here for two weeks in March! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Updates on the Smeltzer family. Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Yes, I Fell Off the Planet. Since I last posted, I have become so crazy busy that I would look at this blog and think, "I should post." and then realize I didn't have time to post. Work got busy for me - REALLY busy. We are expecting our third boy beginning of June, so I have been more tired than I was, and life just happens, I guess. More soon, I hope. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Smeltzers: April 2013

http://kendrasmeltzer.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

Updates on the Smeltzer family. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Long time coming, I know. Let's see, these three keep me very busy. Kenneth is in Pre-K, loving it. Malachi has started preschool at our day care. I'm amazed at what they come home knowing. They still are each other's best friend I think. They are almost inseparable. Even with sickness, he's the happiest guy. Like I said, inseparable. My little monkey boys.. Friday, April 12, 2013. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Learning Cambodia and (Re)Learning the United States. Learning in, learning about, learning from. Sunday, March 6, 2011. Life moves in stages. Some phases are faster than others. The tulips opened in 5 days. Unfortunately (or fortunately), God has not revealed anything about the next stage of my life in this amount of time time so my tulip analogy ends here. But I still really like my tulips. Saturday, March 5, 2011. 25 Things to do before 25. With 5 months to go, I should have enough to keep me busy.

Well, this time it happened again. I got locked out of the house I should've been able to get in. Only this time, it was under different circumstances. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Are tota...

Learning Cambodia and (Re)Learning the United States. Learning in, learning about, learning from. Monday, November 29, 2010. Saturday, November 20, 2010. Autumn, the season. These leaves were from around my house. And, without leaves in some locations, no one has to rake them. However, this yearly ritual occurs here multiple times this season. These images are from houses I noticed while walking near work. Or it's Khmer equivalent, "say how? Friday, November 5, 2010. I can finally say I've seen the Liber...
