I'm blaming it on the ice storm and my discontent with Disney channel. I grew weary of teeny-bopper, let's-pretend-we're-famous adolescent singers, and a certain 7 year old that was dancing non-stop in my living room inspired by irrational plots of these Disney boppers. The buyer, Tina, was a single mother who had a large down payment, and an even bigger sob story. Because we were young, strapped for cash, and idealistic, we floated the rest of the loan for her. She took the car, and promptly left town. Unbeknownst to us, Tina was pregnant and she planned to put the baby up for adoption.
