We began our month by talking about animals in the fall. We made a special snack to share with squirrels and practiced our cutting skills by snipping squirrels’ tails. We are so excited to start a brand new school year at St. Aemilian! Thank you so much to all the families who planned around our school closure last week. We went on a kike to the oak trees and picked some acorns off the ground. We were learning the difference between an oak tree, which gives us acorns,. And a maple tree that has maple seeds. Trees give us so much: shade, food, paper, wood and clean air! We made yummy applesauce too. Pumpkins will finish out our month on fall.
