The Jack Stafford Foundation: Broken (Palestinian Child)
http://thejackstaffordfoundation.blogspot.com/2014/08/broken-child.html
The Jack Stafford Foundation. Jack Stafford's song library. Sunday, 3 August 2014. It all went dark - for you. Huddled together - your mother's broken. And there is the school where you won't cause trouble. There is your body buried under the rubble. And every bone - has been broken. Wondering what happened to them. That they'd become such violent men. Have their hearts - all been broken? Your struggling hard to make sense of it all. As the bombs explode and the buildings fall. Why does he attack?

The Jack Stafford Foundation: Falling
http://thejackstaffordfoundation.blogspot.com/2012/12/falling.html
The Jack Stafford Foundation. Jack Stafford's song library. Monday, 3 December 2012. I’ve been out there all this time. Going through the motions finding out what’s mine. And hard, oh man you know it’s hard. Find out the right way, joining up the stars. And I was once like you are now. Confused by everything, and wondering how. Lost in this time. Right from the start. I can’t forget. I been wandering these streets. Remembering the friends that I had back then. And I’ve how it was. Send me my baby.

The Jack Stafford Foundation: Worship them
http://thejackstaffordfoundation.blogspot.com/2014/11/worship-them.html
The Jack Stafford Foundation. Jack Stafford's song library. Wednesday, 12 November 2014. Most of us choose who will be our life partner. Based on how they make us feel. But that is based upon many variable factors. So it isn't really real. Better choose someone with an auspicious nature. And then worship them. First look at how they treat other people. Ignore how they treat you. Because how they treat you can change in an instant. If they change their point of view. Find somebody who's pure in character.

The Jack Stafford Foundation: Sorrow's never far away (A winter in Perdifumo)
http://thejackstaffordfoundation.blogspot.com/2012/12/a-winter-in-perdifumo.html
The Jack Stafford Foundation. Jack Stafford's song library. Monday, 3 December 2012. Sorrow's never far away (A winter in Perdifumo). Looking out for everyone. Forgetting what is just around the corner. Cos now the winter’s come. Most everyone’s gone. Sorrow’s never far away. Fill your bottles there at the fountain. With your head down. 8216;Til you’ve passed. The posters of the ones who didn’t last. See the winter’s here. The sadness is sincere. Sorrow’s never far away. I’m on my way. City by the sea.

The Jack Stafford Foundation: Amalfi coast
http://thejackstaffordfoundation.blogspot.com/2014/11/amalfi-coast.html
The Jack Stafford Foundation. Jack Stafford's song library. Wednesday, 12 November 2014. Amalfi coast I've got my eye on you. I see you every day across the bay. You may have the curves and corners that all men dream about. But we still have the peace you've forever lost. Yes, life is better. Here across the bay. Amalfi coast I see you lying there. Covered in only a thin and misty veil. And those disgusting tourists come and crawl over you. But I see you in the morning with your lines. Oh, life is better.

The Jack Stafford Foundation: Eve of destruction (updated)
http://thejackstaffordfoundation.blogspot.com/2014/07/eve-of-destruction-updated.html
The Jack Stafford Foundation. Jack Stafford's song library. Friday, 18 July 2014. Eve of destruction (updated). Fierce fighting as they're invading Gaza. Preventative action, right? The promised land, it's not for sharing. Kill the oppressed, show you're caring. Protect your home by, killing your neighbours. But you tell me, over and over and over again my friend. Ah, you don't believe, we're on the eve of destruction. Don't you understand what I'm trying to say? My blood's so mad feels like coagulation.

The Jack Stafford Foundation: Magnetic engine blues
http://thejackstaffordfoundation.blogspot.com/2014/12/magnetic-engine-blues.html
The Jack Stafford Foundation. Jack Stafford's song library. Wednesday, 10 December 2014. We had this German guy come and stay with us through an ad on Workaway. He had many stories and one of them was about a magnetic engine he'd seen in a house near Munich. It was powering the whole house without any connection the mains. And he seemed a trustworthy guy with no reason to lie. But obviously if it works, then why isn't everyone using one? I've got the magnetic engine, magnetic engine blues.

The Jack Stafford Foundation: Here with you
http://thejackstaffordfoundation.blogspot.com/2012/12/here-with-you.html
The Jack Stafford Foundation. Jack Stafford's song library. Monday, 3 December 2012. I could be on a boat going round the world. With an old Dutch guy seeing all unfurled. But I’m here with you. Or in South East Asia work in an island bar. Playing every night, be the local star. But I’m here with you. Of all the place I could be. I chose the one with you next to me. I could try New York there’s so much more than here. Living more in a week than I did in a year. But I’m here with you. City by the sea.

The Jack Stafford Foundation: All the time
http://thejackstaffordfoundation.blogspot.com/2014/12/all-time.html
The Jack Stafford Foundation. Jack Stafford's song library. Friday, 5 December 2014. Now this is wasted. How this is tasted. It just keeps pushing through. Building the hoops in. When I keep pouring. What does it matter then? Now somebody ought to say. To keep my head outta the ground. CHORUS (Same chords as verse). Looping like nothing I've heard before. Caught like a dear in the headlights. Caught up in the crossfire. REPEAT ONCE JUST FOR FUN. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). You are the average.

The Jack Stafford Foundation: Italy & me
http://thejackstaffordfoundation.blogspot.com/2012/12/italy-me.html
The Jack Stafford Foundation. Jack Stafford's song library. Monday, 3 December 2012. I met you on the road. Dressed in long forgotten clothes. Your smile was the biggest that I’d ever seen. We were young we free. But not as much as we should be. With hindsight I know we got caught up in it. But it’s no time, for regrets. When there’s still time to remedy it. When you’re hunting for the good life. It’s the good life you will see. You know I need you baby. When you’re lying next to me. Where your body is.
