The Green Party ran a record number of council candidates nationally in 2016, following on from a full slate of general election candidates across the entire West Midlands region in 2015. We now have councillors in every county in our region, following a February 2016 by-election victory by Duncan Kerr for Oswestry South, Shropshire Council.
