I just need my space, man. November 19, 2014. There seems to be endless supply of questions about bike lanes. Where should they go? What should they look like? How much should they cost? Do we segregate bike lanes with barriers, or go with those Euro-cool bike boulevards? And those questions are just from people who support the idea. I like the intent of the idea, which is. Than generating traffic tickets. Would it do enough to save us the cost of bike lanes or bike boulevards? Or sign in with email.

Bike Lanes and Public Engagement. August 20, 2014. September is coming, and it will bring more discussion about future bike routes in our community. In June, Council adopted a new approach to public engagement for bike routes that means your input will have more impact on decisions about the location and design of these routes. The new approach launched this spring, with sessions to seek input on a downtown bike route that would use either 102 Avenue or 103 Avenue. Or sign in with email. I really hope th...

June 02, 2014. Meet Emily, the newest addition to my office. She’s 24 x 32 and acrylic on canvas. Despite being in motion, she’s a permanent fixture for the next four months. Alison has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alberta and teaches privately and at the Art Gallery of Alberta. When she’s not in the studio she can be found toting her daughter around the River Valley with her two dogs. What does she have to say about herself you ask? Want a spot on my wall? Be the first to comment.

To Spray or Not to Spray. Posted by Michael Walters. On June 24, 2015. The debate around herbicide use on City land has certainly been a lively one.
