These are the first pups I've harvested. While not a rare cultivar, the offerings are slim. When fertilizing - I use either Miracle-Gro 1/4 strength or Superthrive every 3rd or 4th watering. If you have any questions or are interested in purchasing a pup please e-mail me at tomsstaghornferns@gmail.com. Isle de la Reunion.

Ladyfingers - Platycerium Cultivar
Ladyfingers - Platycerium Cultivar. Sunday, June 28, 2009. Ladyfingers - A bifurcatum cultivar. This sire was purchased from Doug Eckel in March 2006. Characteristically, long slender fingers on long slender fertile fronds. Quite elegant, a favorite with the ladies. This sire is ready to be re-boarded to a 17 x 17 redwood backboard but I'll probably wait until the pups get larger and take them (the pups) off at that time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
