World Wide Motorcycle Adventures and Photography on the Twisted Edge! Monday, August 31, 2009. Riding the Americas, Top to Bottom…. Here is a map of the route I followed on my Alaska/ Canada trip late summer ’07. It was about 7,000 miles long and I covered that distance in a little over two weeks, taking several days off in Fairbanks. Miles come easy in Alaska and Canada, I know they will not come so easy on this coming trip. Brrrr Yesss sir, that's the now world famous Arno Arctic pic, that one is, LOL!

For all things HDR. Category: Photos of the Guru. Built in Ireland in 1885 the Polly Woodside was given the nickname of William Woodside’s wife, Polly. On a good day she could sail at 26km/h which is very fast for a ship this size. In the 1970s the Polly Woodside became a public museum and has sat in the same location to this day. Protected by the national heritage it is unlikely that anyone will ever set sail on her again. More information can be found on the official site. In English, the Steel Rat).
