We flew home Tuesday, and that day we found out we had a firm offer on the house! Woohoo, we're under contract! Saturday, our last day, went by too quickly. She encouraged a gluten free/grain free diet since gluten has links to neurological disintegration but said we could go either way since his was mild but that we would see more dramatic results with diet change. She also recommended weekly speech therapy. I am so very grateful Charlie was diagnosed early and that we have access to excellent therapy to help him get better! I hardly held it together. I've been putting off writing this because I feel every time I write about Charlie, something is wrong. Oh well. It is what it is. It is all minor and subtle. For that, I am really grateful. We're now 8 days in (of 68. Ugh), and he has done so well. I am shocked. Suzanne, can you get Lee's take on this? PS I miss Mississippi. Monday, September 28, 2009. Pace enjoying swing time with his daddy! Pace is a huge helper in the kitchen. He loves to get out all the tupperware and spread it out all over the floor. David and I gave Pace his first a couple of weeks ago. I should tell you that I was incredibly nervous. David did the cutting as I was too nervous. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Can't believe Pace is almost 18 months! He is such a big boy! Monday, January 4, 2010. We took Pace to get his first "real" haircut this weekend. Although I did protest a little, in the end I agreed that something had to be done about the wildness. Pace really enjoyed sitting in the yellow car and was going to town on the steering wheel.
