You never know how long they will last! Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Well that is - Finally I'm posting on my blog and Finally my storeroom is clean. Today I didn't need to go to school as I had done the required day at the beginning of the year, but YES I did still go in. For months I have wanted to clean my storeroom and today I was determined to get it done! I arrived at school at 7.45am, and started pulling everything out. You never know how long they will last! Wednesday, July 7, 2010. My young lady Emilee, has made it into the Navy. Emilee applied for the Gap Year along with 11000 other people. There are only 250 positions. She was short listed! Today she had to go for specialist testing. She has just text me to say, she has made it! I'm so proud of her! Emilee is the sort of person who when has a dream, just goes for it. My only trouble now will be to convince her to keep working at school for the next 4 months.

You never know how long they will last! Saturday, April 11, 2009. A whole term finished already and I'm longing for my holidays. This week has been a very trying one. It seems ALL. My children have to be off all at the same time! It's Emilee I'm most worried about. I really need to spend some quality time with her. In fact quality time with all of them is just what we need. You never know how long they will last! Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Looks like we are staying put for a while! I attempted to go to school yesterday, but didn't get far. The day begun with getting dressed in the dark using a birthday candle as my light (Thank Godness it was Emilee's 16th birthday and the candles were on the bench from the night before). I have just walked down to have a look and I'm not going anywhere for a long time! Thanks Deb and Suzanne for sending the email about "Teachers are overpaid!

You never know how long they will last! Tuesday, July 6, 2010. For many years, we have lived surrounded by bush. However progress happens, and this week has seen our beloved secluded house become overexpossed! I'm really do feel sad for all the little creatures that would have had their homes within the trees and bushes. The land is for sale for $3M. There is 5 blocks of about 1/3 acre.
