On this card I have used the "Thumping" technique - note the different colours on his belly and tail. You can even use it with sentiments. VersaMark / Creamy Caramel / SnW Markers in various colours. Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Card - Cherish Flower. Hi Everyone, The stamp set I have used today is one that has been discontinued, but it is one of my favourites for watercolouring. After heat-embossing the image with white embossing powder, I have used the Aqua-Painters with the Watercolour Crayons to give this wonderful shadowed effect. Warm Words / From the Garden. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Hi Everyone, I made this card for my son, Joshua's, birthday. I have used the set Loads of Love, and stamped the truck directly onto Real Red card to get the bold colour. The trailer is the same stamp, with the front cabin on the truck cut off. I individually cut an assortment of the presents, and adhered them with Dimensionals, to add depth as they fly off the truck. Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Hi, Today I thought I would show a card using the two-step stamping process. I have used the "Heartfelt Thanks" set, and this technique works with both inks and pastels. The solid image is stamped in a lighter colour, with the outline stamp inked in a darker shade. Brocade Blue / Night of Navy / VersaMark. Friday, July 9, 2010. Hi Everyone, This was a card I made for a monthly challenge on Stampin With Leah. This is such a cute stamp set. The background was stamped with Versamark, and the sea-weed done with the Stampin' Pastels with some Dazzling Diamonds added. It's a little hard to tell, but the fish are all embossed with clear powder to give them shine and dimension. Ocean Commotion / Sincere Salutations. Showed us all how to make a gorgeous tool box for Father's Day so check out her blog during the week for a sneak peak. Everyone had gorgeous swap cards to share. We had to use a stamp set from the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue, and one or all of the new in-colours. I thought I'd show you mine below. This one uses Rich Razzleberry - very cute and girly. And this one is with Melon Mambo.
