Serving the people of Ghana as Latter-Day Saint Missionaries. Sunday, August 28, 2016. Richard Sackitey stopped by our office with his wife and daughter to collect a check. He is able to get reasonable prices for supplies that we need.cooktop stoves for the missionary apartments, light bulbs, etc. He is also the Ghana director for an NGO called "Ghana Make A Difference". The Sackitey's are outstanding people. Nancy's Friday night dinner at La Villa, a boutique hotel with a restaurant. Yes, eating again!

David had class today, but I stayed home and got through a ton of work for my classes. He said his classes went really well. It is Nancy’s birthday today and they were “treating” us all to dinner with their meal credits. We were successful in using some of them up. It was rather cool this morning when we woke up from the rain yesterday. It still did not look like it was done raining, so I decided that today was going to be a good day to do some baking. I am trying to use up ingredients that won’t last and would have to be thrown out when we left. I made some brownies, peanut butter fingers, and Jell-O. This is the fountain on campus.

David and Zina Cox. Thanksgiving Home Evening and "Prophecy" Fulfilled. Friday, May 30, 2014. Day 278 – AC! We had such a hard time sleeping last night with how hot our apartment was. Even the fan blowing directly on us all night didn’t help much. I finally gave up about five am and opened the window to see if the air out there was any cooler than in the bedroom. A little, but not by much. After we got the packages sent off, we went back to campus and watched the workmen install the new air conditioner!

When we got back to security, we went to the same girl and she wanted us to go back again, but we told her that they had said we were okay. She looked down at David’s passport again (it was David’s bag that had to be scanned twice), shrugged her shoulders and let us go through. Now we just had two hours to wait for our plane. It is great to be home! It was a marvelous adventure!
