October 30, 2010. Meadow Highland Games, 2010. We also had time to check out vendors and clans, and other things. The Ross AGM meeting was held at 2:00 PM. After that we played a show. We also played the US Armed Forces set for the SAMS tent. (Scottish American Military Society). After that the Sons of Scotland had our meeting at the Ross tent as usual, and burt a few cigars. August 7, 2010. X-Band plays for the National Night Out. We are going into the studio soon to record a much anticipated CD. Everyone we know is wanting one. We also have some good paying gigs comming up. Hopefully we will also do the Celtic Festival circuit, amongst other venues. This band is really getting on a roll since our debute in January. October 30, 2010. Gayton Kirk Celtic Festival 2010. On September 11th the VSGPD was the featured pipe band for the festival. The VSGPD Performance Band play multiple sets throughout the day, including a tribute to all affected by 9-11 and to the US Armed Forces. June 19, 2010. Jeff Davis Service, and Ashland Strawberry Fair,2010. I tell you what, the VSGPD X-Band has the best drum section ever! These guys, and gals rocked. To play those hard pounding tribal ryhthms for 7 to 10 minutes strait, non stop in that heat is truly amazing. And they have been working this festival for years. What a great day!
