Sunday, November 30, 2008. Our kids use to say prayers beginning with "we're fankful" when they were tiny. So when I think of things I'm thankful for, I can't help but want to say it like they did. Here's some things I'm so thankful for (in no particular order of course):. Family- all of them. Good health (although I'm kinda sickish right now- but it's nothing). A caring Father in Heaven. Playing Uno with Sydie. Letters from my kids. Scriptures that help guide me. Curling up with my kids and reading.

Friday, March 27, 2009. Our Spring Break family vacation turned out to be even more fun than I thought! Quite a few families from our ward and surrounding wards went out to run the half marathon. We ended up being able to stay in these cabins with everyone and not only had family but friend time too. Our kids had a blast and I'm thinking this will be an annual event for us. Wednesday, November 4, 2009. The long awaited night came and went, and once again left me wanting more of the same! BWD and I went went to see Wicked with our good friends the Andersons and the Poelmans. Both couples had not seen it before, so it was fun to see their reactions. They loved it. Sunday, September 27, 2009. I love musicals. Miss Saigon has been on my list for years as one that I would like to see. I've been listening to the music for years. Monday, October 12, 2009. Dear Tall Friends,. Being short has had it's advantages in the past. I never had to worry about towering over a guy while dancing. I was always at the top of the cheer leading pyramid instead of having a heavy shoe dug into my back while squatting. The boys and I got together with my sister Gretchen and her kids and headed to Devil's Tower for the day. It was a great time with beautiful weather and scenery!
