Further Up, Further In Weblog. Chronicling the Journey of the Homeyers. At a loss… September 7, 2010. 8212; furtherupfurtherin @ 9:35 pm. For a clever blog title, that is. We are still trying to settle back into our school year routine, though it has been a lot harder for me this year than in the past. Brooks moved up to a new class in daycare, he’s a Tiny Tot now! Here he is on the first day of his new class with his puppy-this is his best friend…. Then the busted, fat lip:. He’s recently begun to...

Summer is in full swing in the Homeyer house and we are loving every minute of it! We’ve visited with various friends. Wednesday I actually did have to go in to work for a little while for some end of year meetings, so Brooks stayed with a family down the street. They have a little boy who is just a few weeks older than Brooks an...We’ve...

I wrote the following for Fellowship’s newsletter this week…I thought I would share. Sunday night was the series finale of the TV series, Lost. Thursday, February 21, 2013. We had THE BEST TIME! And Layton and Chaney went to Clyde with Matt's mom (Nana). I'm not sure who had the best vacation! The kids LOVE going "home" to see our families! Chaney started putting two words together! Her favorite songs are row-row your boat, abc's, firework (katy perry), and we are never getting back together (taylor swift). She loves to dance and spin around in circles (a little scary when she does it around the brick fireplace! Oh yeah, there was a hurricane!

More Kilpatricks to Come: January 2014
http://morekilpatrickstocome.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 10, 2014. Cameron and Rhys,. Bathtime is occasionally a rushed thing, but it brings my heart joy when these two sweethearts manage to fit together in our little tub and play together. Rhys loves his submarine and turtle bath toys, and Cameron is actually pretty good and washing his hair for him, so it's a win-win! Cameron thinks she is also Rhys' personal speech therapist. She practices words with him all the time! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Fancy Version of Mommy. And My Family Now!

More Kilpatricks to Come: August 2014
http://morekilpatrickstocome.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 2, 2014. Kilpatrick, Party of Five. He's little, but he is awesome." I remember seeing how small he looked in the doctor's hands but that his skin looked so healthy and pink! Compared with Rhys, he looked so much better. And yet, we still had to head straight to the NICU. He was put on three lamps to help him process out the bilirubin and he had wires and IV cords everywhere. But really we anticipated that you might be there for a very short stay! Still praying for you, our Little Bear!

Here are some truths that I thought I would share for those that fully understand and those that haven't the slightest idea what it is like being a coach's wife…. 1 You are the sounding board. When they win, he wants to talk about it. When they lose, he wants to talk about it. Game nights are late and exhausting but his mind is still racing anyway. Even after a victory, he is thinking about the next opponent. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
