This year's Stanmore Fete was opened by the Chief Executive of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Rob Hurd. This year, we decided to hold the fete in Stanmore Recreation Ground and we had a range of craft and jewellery stalls. We also had a face painting stall which proved very popular with the kids. Through its projects and programmes, Aspire offers practical support to the 40,000 people living with a spinal cord injury in the UK so that they can lead fulfilled and independent lives in their homes, with their families, in work places and in leisure time.
