I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian: Project Runway
http://sanstheology.blogspot.com/2011/07/project-runway.html
I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian. The Great City of Jackson. July 31, 2011. Last Thursday was the season premiere for Project Runway Season 9. I haven't watched this show in years.I didn't even realize it was still on. But it is still on and comes on Lifetime now, which is odd cause I thought they only showed overly dramatic made-for-TV movies.Anywho, Project Runway is like all those other reality TV show competitions, except in this one they're not cooking or wooing, they're SEWING! H is for Handmade.

I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian: Some Background
http://sanstheology.blogspot.com/p/some-background-on-madness.html
I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian. The Great City of Jackson. I now work for an unidentified branch of the Federal government. Let's just say I have "security clearance" and a magic ID badge that opens locked doors. I started teaching myself how to sew shortly after we were married in 2009, with the help of lots of "doit-yourself" books and anyone that would help me learn. And I have been learning everything I can ever since. My husband. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Some Neat Sewing Blogs.

I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian. The Great City of Jackson. July 28, 2011. A Little Ditty in My Head. I love music. I have no musical ability whatsoever, but I did use to dance…which is somewhat related, right? Well, I at least have rhythm. Now my music enjoyment is limited to doing a boogie in my office chair while streaming Pandora radio on my iPhone at work. But thank goodness for Pandora! Two Door Cinema Club. The bad thing is, now that I’ve found all these artists, I’d like to own t...I can sup...

I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian: A little bit of cute
http://sanstheology.blogspot.com/2011/07/little-bit-of-cute.html
I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian. The Great City of Jackson. July 4, 2011. A little bit of cute. So I have two nephews and one brand new two month old niece. Finally, a little girl! Girl clothes are just so dadgum adorable, I just can't help fawning over them in the stores. And now I finally have a reason to make baby girl clothes. Oh yay! So I had a design that popped in my head after I bought that adorable green cheap fabric the other day. And I ended up with this. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Where the important stuff is kind of an afterthought. Posted in February 2012. I am not a handy person. I’ve been staring at a pile of cull* plywood and 4 foot sections of landscaping posts lying on the floor of my office/guest bedroom/recording space/love bodega for the past two weeks thinking Now what? Now what, indeed. I know what I wanted to make out of it, but as … Continue reading →. Letters in a Row. Light in Her Eyes. Other Stuff I Like. Add Me on Facebook. 140 Characters or Fewer. Where the important stuff is kind of an afterthought. This entry was posted on June 16, 2012, in Uncategorized. Haha Man, I totally fooled you! I bet you thought I had a new blog post here. Well I don’t. Someday maybe, but I’ve been super busy lately with stuff…and other stuff. In the meantime however; let me point you over to my friend Heather Summers’ blog. And the guest post I did for her as part of an ongoing series she’s running. 2 thoughts on “ #SeriousSaturday. June 19, 2012 at 8:57 pm. I Swear I&...

I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian. The Great City of Jackson. The Great City of Jackson. We have chosen to live actually in Jackson and not one of the numerous suburbs because we love our hometown! We love it so much we named our first born after it. I know you’re wondering why. I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian. The Great City of Jackson. June 30, 2011. My church has a women’s ministry that is growing increasingly more active. We’ve been trying to do lots to get the ladies together often, including a spring retreat, a Saturday brunch, and last night a craft night. I was so excited for this event! I discovered though, that while I enjoy the company, I get distracted too easily, and end up sewing the wrong stitches, and things backwards. Oops! Pulling a Fast One. The idea of g...

I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian: A Successful Experiment
http://sanstheology.blogspot.com/2011/07/successful-experiment.html
I Was Never Meant To Be A Theologian. The Great City of Jackson. July 19, 2011. I made, I had a good bit of fabric left over. Turns out, to make a baby outfit doesn't take much fabric at all. So I decided to play around with it and maybe make a skirt. And something actually turned out. I didn't feel like putting any closures on it, so the waste-band just ties. It was pretty simple, and I actually like it. I wore it to work today. In other news our garden is flourishing! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
