STAO-Norge er en frivillig organisasjon opprettet i 2005 av en gruppe studenter fra Universitetet i Bergen etter endt utvekslingsopphold ved Makerere University i Uganda. På ulike måter samler vi inn midler til en lokal hjelpeorganisasjon, STAO-Uganda, i landsbyen Mafubira. Alle innsamlede midler går uavkortet til fattigdomsbekjempelse og informasjonsarbeid knyttet HIV/AIDS som forårsaker mange av fattigdomsproblemene. Vi gjør dette fordi vi ser det nytter!
