Each team will have a site set a side in the festivals Team Village. This area in the village will be a place for your team members, family and friends to gather during the festival. Although no overnight camping is allowed teams are encouraged to set up tents, chair, tables and whatever else they want in your area to make this your team headquarters. There will be awards for the most creative team sites during the festival.

The Starbuck Dragon Boat Festival is unique to the area and the Starbuck Chamber of Commerce expect to draw several hundred people to this event in August. Each team is provided up to two practices prior to Saturday's day of racing. One practice is mandatory. Teams will be able to reserve the practice times on a first-come, first-serve basis. Practices times will be one hour each, and will be scheduled the evening of Monday through Thursday prior to the festival. A limited number of practices will be available on Friday. Preference will be given to out-of- town teams for these Friday practices.
