The combined effort of our whole family. Update on Mom (5/23/09). Today was both a difficult day and a beautiful day. Mom left this world at 1:25 PM today. She was home in her own bed. She wasn’t in any pain or on any pain medication either. She was surrounded by her family. The hospice nurse came out to the house around 10:00 PM Thursday night and we got Mom comfortable in bed.
