Diary of a mad-thing. Sep 11th, 2010. The last few days have been both busy and relaxed at the same time. So busy in fact that it's now been 45 minutes since I wrote that last sentence. Props have almost been completed. I WILL find time to finish them before next weekend . I hope. Kit still hasn't been found . but will be . I hope. Work's been . interesting, and busy as hell. With more busy on the cards. Gotta dash more stuff to do before sleep. And an early start tomorrow. View my Tags page.

Diary of a mad-thing. Dec 5th, 2011 at 6:22 PM. Ok so I've not posted since March. It's been kinda busy here for this whole time. And not always in a good way. So, we went on summer hols, and on my first day back I was told I'd lose my job. I went looking for, and found, another one. Having started with the new place I highlighted some areas that they needed to shape up to be legal, let alone professional. I subsequently had my contract terminated, and had to go job hunting again. View my Tags page.

Diary of a mad-thing. Looks like I'll be at Celebrations IV! Apr 13th, 2007 at 8:26 AM. Not physically or in person I hasten to add, but in spirit and pictographic form. In the 501st costuming world there thousands of people who get kitted up in star wars costume and parade around at charity do's and street parades. These costumes, to qualify for 501st memberhsip have to be screen accurate, or in the case of non-film costumes, look like they could have just walked off the set. COG Spec Ops Detachment.

Diary of a mad-thing. Jun 16th, 2008. I'm back at work now, so I can take a breather from the weekend! Friday was Delta Green, and the players finally picked up on some plot drops that they missed. As per usual it ended up with them torching the place. Of course torching sites of supernatural / alien activity isn't always going to work, as they will find out next week. But it does make for amusement on my part when the discussion comes down the flamability of diesel over unleaded. But they will learn.

Diary of a mad-thing. Oct 14th, 2010 at 8:19 AM. Zombie games are usually cool - for a while at least. Urban Dead was fun for a while (might be again now, don't know haven't looked at it for ages). However, recently I got myself a new phone. Available on this phone as an 'app' is a game called Plague GPS. It's a GPS-based (duh! Zombie game that superimposes over googlemaps (or something similar). Http:/ plaguenitebytes.livejournal.com/. Only one entry so far, but we've only recently started playing.

Diary of a mad-thing. Nov 4th, 2010. A while ago . at least month maybe more, a friend of mine who, admittedly, I don't talk to anywhere near enough posted up pics of his new ink. As I was, and still am, planning to get another tattoo, I dropped him a message on facebook to ask where he got his done. Today he replied, generally asking how I was etc . and specifically if I was still drumming. My instincts told me he was fishing, turns out he was. His band is in need of a drummer. View my Tags page.
