Starlight Studio: July 2015
https://starlight-studio.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
July 20, 2015. It's a bridal shower! I recently needed a gift bag for a gift card to give a good friend's daughter at her bridal shower, and this is what I came up with! The boot design is (of course) an SVG Cuts file from their Happy Trails. Svg kit. I embossed some pearly white paper for the sides using an Anna Griffin folder called Foundry. If you are thinking that this is not your traditional type of bridal shower gift bag, then you need to peek at the card that went with it too. Happy Trails SVG Kit.

Starlight Studio: March 2015
https://starlight-studio.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
March 22, 2015. And I found a super cool cheat - gold metallic/shimmery/fine glitter cardstock is uber expensive, and since the gold layers are only for a thin mat, I used simple copy paper and then a Krylon gold leaf pen to edge them. You can't tell! 15 in pens vs $85 in cardstock.um, no brainer. ;). Now the embossing and gluey fun begins. I absolutely love assembly line kind of projects, is that weird? March 6, 2015. ISO Spellbinders Grand Labels Four. Can you help me? March 1, 2015. Welcome to my blog.

Starlight Studio: Birthday Tea Pot
https://starlight-studio.blogspot.com/2015/07/birthday-tea-pot.html
July 12, 2015. I've been busy, busy, busy! But I have been having some crafty fun too. This victorian style tea pot is part of the Honeybee Tea kit by SVG Cuts. I LOVE this design and I LOVE this Graphic 45 Botanical Tea. I shrunk the design a bit to reduce the size of the pot to about 7" or 8" (oops, forgot to take a final measurement! That made it a bit tricky to assemble the spout and lid knob, but worth it because I really like the more petite size. A gift within a gift. :). Welcome to my blog.

Starlight Studio: February 2015
https://starlight-studio.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
February 13, 2015. Valentine Mailbox Box Card. I have so much fun giving box cards! This design is from the new Hearts Aflame svg kit. By SVG Cuts. They are so easy to assemble but have such a "wow" factor, and special people deserve a little extra "wow", don't you think? You Melt My Heart. My daughter loves, I mean really LOVES Olaf from Frozen. So we decided to use him as her theme for her class valentine cards. I found my inspiration here. Now if we could just find something to melt all our snow.

Starlight Studio: May 2015
https://starlight-studio.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
May 8, 2015. Yesterday I set my feeders out for the season and within twenty minutes look who was already visiting! Wow that was fast. My feathered babies are back and oh how I missed them over the long, cold winter we had. So now we can say that Spring is finally, really and officially here. May 7, 2015. I noticed that my daughter's two main teachers did not have a name tag next to their classroom room numbers outside their doors, so I made them one! I used a split title design by Megan Hardy Designs.

Starlight Studio: It's Teacher Appreciation time again!
https://starlight-studio.blogspot.com/2015/05/its-teacher-appreciation-time-again.html
May 1, 2015. It's Teacher Appreciation time again! I've been busy, busy, busy! We went to Disney World for spring vacation. Ohmygosh what fun we had! It was much hotter than I expected but after the long, cold winter we've had in the Northeast this year it was a welcome change. I volunteer in my daughter's class every week and a couple weeks ago when the teacher asked me to help the kids with a Mother's Day project in the next classroom I found my opportunity to also kickstart my project! My daughter's t...

Starlight Studio: Butterfly Flourish Card
https://starlight-studio.blogspot.com/2015/04/butterfly-flourish-card.html
April 7, 2015. By Daniela Angelova that cuts like butter! Not that it really needed it, but I added an extra darker purple butterfly layer under the top white butterfly to add a bit more interest, and then I pop-dotted both layers separately to give some extra dimension along with the pearls. So quick and easy. I sooo need to get over that, I know, lol! April 8, 2015 at 12:51 PM. Simple cards scare me too, like Im doing it wrong! Subscribe to: Post Comments ( Atom ). Welcome to my blog.

Starlight Studio: Teacher Name Tags
https://starlight-studio.blogspot.com/2015/05/teacher-name-tags.html
May 7, 2015. I noticed that my daughter's two main teachers did not have a name tag next to their classroom room numbers outside their doors, so I made them one! I used a split title design by Megan Hardy Designs. Customized the blackboard text, and then I added the teacher names using the Branboll NY. Of course I wanted to be sneaky.um.I mean to surprise. I guess it took them a few hours after school and going through their doors a dozen times til they finally saw them - and they loved them, yay!
