The Ramblings of a Big City Girl Gone South. We went to get hay yesterday, a unfortunate event that happens at least twice a year, and we set a new record for us! Normally, I get about 16 bales of hay on my father-in-laws shortbed Nissan Frontier. Last year, I ran out of hay early…not good….so this year we really wanted to get as much cheap hay as possible. Yet another knitting blog. The Great Knit Picks haul. For quite a long time, I’ve drooled over Knit Picks yarn. Stunning colours, great fibres and and excellent price point. The biggest downside was that they don’t ship to Australia. This didn’t stop me building up a significant wishlist! I did some research into mail forwarders, and chose to use ComGateway. And because I was paying for shipping, I wanted to make sure I got my money’s worth. And, boy, did I! Here was the bag that arrived at my door.
