The Defibtech Lifeline defibrillator. The equipment for outdoor applications requires special thought and consideration. Temperature: Most AEDs should be used above 32 degrees, and some cannot be stored below 50 degrees. Defibtech pads can be stored down to -50 degrees. Some AEDs are rendered inoperable if stored below 40 degrees or damaged if it gets below freezing, but not the Lifeline unit.
