http://chrissymuses.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Muse of the Day. Random thoughts, observations, and experiences I'd like to share with you. Friday, October 30, 2009. Literary Destinations in England. I doubt this list is nearly complete, so feel free to comment if you see anything missing. I went to England about ten years ago and visited a few of these sites (which I've starred)- wish I had a digital camera back then, but I guess it gives me an excuse to go back (as if I needed one)! The photos below are the ones I took with my 35mm. The Charles Dick...

Hudson Happenings: September 2008
http://hudsonforheisman.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 6, 2008. What is your home planet? We have been teaching Hudson about our solar system (at his request! He can already identify Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. He also knows Uranus, Neptune, Mercury, Venus, and Pluto but they are a little tougher to pick out on the solar system map. The solar system is much more complicated than when I was a kid. Now we have Ceres, Pluto, and Eris as "dwarf" planets and Kuiper Belt Objects. Remember when Saturn was the only planet with rings?

Hudson Happenings: July 2008
http://hudsonforheisman.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 26, 2008. Star Wars Midnight Madness. The big hit for him was meeting Boba Fett up close. He was still a little nervous and needed me to hold him, but he always wanted to know where Boba (and Jango) were. Sunday, July 13, 2008. So we bought him boring ole Scott Dixon. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hudson says we should do better at keeping up with our friends and family, so this is one way we're going to try to do that! The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. My Lucky Day by Keiko Kasza.

Hudson Happenings: June 2008
http://hudsonforheisman.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 29, 2008. Yesterday Hudson went on his Space Adventure Day (as planned by Daddy). June 28th marked the opening day of the new space wing and planetarium at the local science museum. It also coincided with the new release of Pixar's film Wall-E. So we decided to make a day of seeing these two events, along with Aunt Christina. Daddy pointed to the third planet and told Hudson that was where he lived, that it was the planet called Earth. More on that later. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mars Nee...

Hudson Happenings: May 2008
http://hudsonforheisman.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 31, 2008. One of our favorite events during the year is the Renaissance Festival, which happens every weekend in May and on Memorial Day. This year, Grammy and Pop-Pop were up visiting and they went with us, along with Aunt Christina. It was Hudson's fourth trip to the festival; his first visit was when he was ust 6 weeks old! Several lances got totally shattered and one night almost got de-horsed! Friday, May 16, 2008. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Wars. What a creative little guy I have!

Muse of the Day: August 2008
http://chrissymuses.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Muse of the Day. Random thoughts, observations, and experiences I'd like to share with you. Friday, August 22, 2008. Things That Happen in Movies That Rarely Happen in Real Life. The only explanation for why I put the movie. Bring It On: In It to Win It. Has been the most recent success in the category. Castle Rock is just bad. But I dedicate this blog entry to it because it is a shining example of the topic ‘o the day (see title). Had dramatic repetition, yes…dramatic repetition. Well, Antonio spends th...

Hudson Happenings: December 2007
http://hudsonforheisman.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 12, 2007. Hudson Loves Santa Claus! Well last Saturday was our hometown's Christmas parade and Christmas in the Park celebration. It was the second time we have participated. Last year it was bitterly cold; this year it was warm and rainy. But that didn't slow Hudson down one bit! So Rob had to run out in the middle of the street with all the other little kids, and pick up the fallen candy. Haha! Hudson had a blast waving at everyone going by and screaming, "Hi! Then we walked around ...

Hudson Happenings: Hudson's Dream Girl
http://hudsonforheisman.blogspot.com/2009/01/hudsons-dream-girl.html
Sunday, January 18, 2009. Apparently a little girl named Shelby is Hudson's favorite. He gets all smiley when he talks about her. Shelby is special. So much so that Hudson wouldn't dare be seen wearing his Frankenstein mask during the Halloween party when Shelby walked in. Ahhhh, Shelby! One day Hudson was telling us all about Shelby and why he likes her so much. "Yeah, Shelby is a nice girl! And she has HAIR! Wow I hope his standards get a little higher by the time he turns 18. He really said that?
