Thursday, February 12, 2009. Michael had another growth check with Dr M. yesterday. He is now 49.6" tall and 62 lbs! As for Michael himself, well,he has become very interested in being in a band. He told me today that him and his buddies have started a band :) Oh the teenage years are going to be a blast.LOL!

He joined the choir and has sang in his first choir concert. His second one is coming up on June 3rd. He had his first girl invited to his 12th birthday party! Ready for the game to start.

Queen of the Castle. Monday, May 19, 2008. Mother's Day, a milestone birthday and a black eye. Well, I have a few things to catch up on. Alex turned 10 on May 9th! Yikes, where does the time go? He had cupcakes at school on Friday the 9th, then went to a movie with Jim and a friend on Saturday the 10th. They got to ride in Jim's new Mustang and they saw Iron Man. It was enjoyed by all including the big kid. :). My mommy is 5 1/2 years old. Her hair is brown and her eyes are green. Love, Matthew P.

But it sounds like this: in-ter-est-ing.". M: tries again, but doesn't get very close. A: "Keep trying Mattie. You're really close! M: "Whatever" (complete with dismissive hand gesture). Poor Alex, he was trying SO hard to be a good big brother! Ugh - I can so picture that going on in my rearview mirror as well.

Not the Air Force Thunderbirds but the superheros from the 60's cartoon. :) But today he decided he also wants to be a Race Car Driver. He thought a minute about that and decided he'd be the race car driver AFTER he was a Thunderbird. "Mom" he says, "I can just say TRANSFORM! And I can change into any job I want!
