A Series Of Unfortunate Events – Part 1. By Judy @ 10:51 PM. 1 Son in the kitchen. This Christmas we tried something new. Usually #1 Son comes to my house for dinner and present opening, and we watch a movie or whatever and just chill. This year I asked #1 Son if it would be fun if I came to. House instead, and we could cook together and feed which ever of his roommates or friends were around and hungry? He thought that sounded fun, and we planned accordingly. Meet the ‘rents. Getting ready for the feast.

I Have Been To The Sock Summit. By Judy @ 4:35 PM. Sometimes, if we are very lucky, we create an object that is so perfect, so. That it can hardly be described with words, but must be. It was waaaaaaaay better than the first sweater that I knit, which I wore once… because mama forced me to. Yeah. That was the sweater that first taught me that cheating at gauge is a lose-lose proposition. But I’m not here to talk about ponchos and sweaters, beloved – or not – as they may be. Wednesday, June 04, 2008. Little did Ms. Knit Sox. Know she would shame me into posting a blog entry by tagging me for a meme. So.here is an entry. 1 What was I doing 10 years ago? A: I was a stay at home mom getting used to life with two. My oldest was two, I had a newborn and we had just moved into our first home. We moved into the house when Cowodie was 9 days old! 2What are 5 things on my to-do list for today (not in any particular order)? 3 Snacks I enjoy? 4 Things I would do if I were a billionaire?

Which leaves Smoda and I home alone. He goes to bed early so I can curl up in my chair with knitting and a movie. But I feel lonely. I hate days like this. At my Hearth: January 2008
http://atmyhearth.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 24, 2008. As I have stated before, I love to cook. Unfortunately most of my favorite cooking includes comfort foods and desserts. Weight Watchers has curbed some of my cooking, not totally a bad thing.so if I find a good recipe that works with my new eating lifestyle it is really exciting for me. Spicy Thai Wraps has become a new staple for me. Quick and easy to make as well as quite tasty. 1 cup packaged coleslaw (no dressing). Crushed red pepper to taste (start with 1/4 tsp). Http:/ a...

At my Hearth: November 2007
http://atmyhearth.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 29, 2007. For those of you who read my earlier post today, you know that I am hosting the Women's Ministry Christmas party. So of course today should have been filled with cleaning, organizing and decorating. After all it is D-Day minus 9. But is that what I did? The other day I was searching for something to do with some of the 285 pounds of pork that I brought back from Oklahoma. Yes, I typed that correctly 285 pounds! I pulled out Rachel. There on page 84 of 365: No Repeats. Parties...

Thursday, May 31, 2007. When I posted last week about needing passports I wasn't sure where we were going. My mother-in-law just told me to get them. We typically go on vacation with her each year. Well it turns out we are going on a Caribbean cruise. I am probably more excited than the boys. I have never been on a cruise but from what I hear they are lots of fun. We will have ports of call in Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico.a full seven nights on board ship. Posted by Julie in Texas. 3 of your thoughts.
