My Marathon Experience

Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Tuesday, March 20, 2012. I started this week with a renewed sense of what I'm trying to accomplish. I'm happy to say that I ran on the treadmill yesterday, and although I did walk part of the time, I ran 70%! I covered a little over 3 miles. I am going to continue running in the gym until I get more conditioned to running, and then I will transition to outside. I'm also going to let the weather get a little nicer. It's good to be back on track, though. :). Monday, March 5, 2012.

Thursday, March 1, 2012. Today was cross training day, so I did p90x yoga and stretching. I'm trying to ease my muscles into their new lifestyle so I don't end up with mutiny on my hands. I also went to a store in Providence called Runners North. The owner watched how I run and checked a few other things and helped both Clint and I find really great running shoes. She was SO nice and very knowledgeable! I can't wait to try them out, but tomorrow is a rest day, so I will have to wait until Saturday. I got...

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. I have leg muscles - hear them ROAR! Wow, so walking one day, and then running (jogging at a pathetically slow pace) two days in a row really helped me to find and identify all the muscles in my legs! Climbing my stairs will be an interesting undertaking as the running increases, that's for sure. I jogged for 40 minutes, for a total of 2.77 miles today :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
