A couple years ago, I was encouraged to pick a word for the year to use as a reminder, as an encouragement, and as a goal. The word for 2011 was "Kingdom". You can read about that HERE. Meditating on Kingdom that year resulted in me letting go of my kingdom/life in Chicago and moving back home to Texas in June 2011. Big change! Choosing the word for 2012. Driving home from Bible study last night we saw a huge snake on the road and Josh sped up to run over it. When we got out to look at what type of snake it was, we found out that it was SPITTING COBRA! Josh's partner William, that he has been working with since August, left last month to go work for SIM building houses and churched in the bush of Sudan. He was such a great guy and Josh and the workers miss him so much already! To say thank you for all he has done they decided to give him a "Malawian Farewell"!
