Find our Pubs & Hotels. Grew up in Ireland where he earned a degree from Dublin University and then arrived in London in time for the last gasps of the ‘80s boom. He started out in commercial property in London before working all over Europe and America growing a property and venture capital business for the Lewis Trust Group. You can eat all day every day from our wonderful kitchen overseen by Tom Blake, group chef and ex River Cottage, and Ricky Ford, head chef and ex Gary Rhodes and The Museum Inn. We are Draco Pub, owners of The Swan, The White Hart, Timbrell’s Yard and most recently The King’s Arms. Our first three inns pride themselves on being among the finest coaching inns in the West Country and we fully intend to add The King’s Arms, Dorchester to that list when we complete its renovation in early 2017. We bought and renovated our first building in 2011 and have since enjoyed bringing out the individual charms of our other inns, making them great places to visit again and again.

A little bit of History. A Grade II listed building lovingly refurbished in 2015, sitting alongside the river Avon in the centre of Bradford on Avon. Over the years, the property changed from being a home to housing the Tariff Reform Club, the Town Library and then the Conservative Club. In 1960 Bradford on Avon Rowing Club took over the building having merged with the Conservative Club and they built an extension which now houses part of the restaurant and some of the first floor bedrooms.
