Your brain is still growing. THE TEENAGE BRAIN DESERVES MORE RESPECT. It’s working hard to develop and come into its own especially the areas that handle decision-making and learning. That means your brain may be particularly vulnerable to the negative effects of any substance, including pot. ALGEBRA IS ALREADY HARD ENOUGH. When you get high, you may have difficulty learning, memory issues and lower math and reading scores. The more you get high, the harder it may be to learn. DO WHAT YOU LOVE.

When we talked with Oregon teenagers about pot, we heard one request more than any other: They wanted to hear from people who had used pot and could talk about their experiences. How had weed affected them? What did using pot do, if anything, to their relationships, their grades, even their future? And when they look back now, how do they feel about that time in their lives? Here are those stories.

We know what you may be thinking. In Oregon, a state where recreational pot is now legal for adults, why is there a campaign that asks young people to think twice about using it? That phrase young people is the key. Stay True to You. Isn’t an anti-pot campaign. It’s an attempt to increase awareness among the under-21 crowd about how pot might affect your health and your life, now and in the future. LET'S BACK UP A MINUTE. That directed the Oregon Health Authority.
