Tuesday, 13 August 2013. Grateful - By Max. Everyone goes past me and I feel like I am the poorest person in the world. I feel like I am going to suffocate in loneliness. As I play my piano music I sing croakily. I smell a BBQ starting and I am really famished. At the end of the day I only have $5o in my pocket but I feel grateful. As I walk down the village I smell bacon and eggs and hash browns on toast. I can hear the rumble in my tummy. I thought I was the luckiest busker in the village.

While I play my tune, I can taste the dust in my mouth. Insects crawl on my legs. In my large brim hat the only money I have is 5 bucks. While people walk past, I am ignored. Tuesday, 13 August 2013. The Busker - By Olivia. I’m sitting on a lonely street waiting for a person to walk pass. Still, I play my undersized piano hoping for a person to put some money in my hat. A filthy pigeon lands beside me. A woman jogs quickly past me with a bag of delicious savouries. More people walk past going to find lunch. The smell of lunches from all different cultures fills my nose. I hear a cling and someone drops $2 in my hat; it’s my first coin today. The crowds dull down.
